Sennheiser HD202 Headphones October 14, 2008 ric_mac I originally bought a pair of these to go with an MP3 player that had poor quality ear-buds. There might be better earphones around than these HD202s, but for their very reasonable price they are exceptionally good. Personally I find them quite comfortable -- though I know other reviewers didn't think so -- and even wear them for long train journeys. Great.
Build quality? October 12, 2008 Rev Gherkin (wiltshire, england) I normally always buy sennheiser and have always been pleased, but i bought 4 of these for my staff computers and 2 had to be replaced with in 6 weeks of purchase. To be fair they were replaced immediately without any question and have had no problems since, but 2 out of 4 going wrong raises questions about build quality. Ironically i have the 201 and never had a problem with them.
Cheap, reliable and amazing sound September 21, 2008 B. G. Hamilton (Norwich, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these a year ago primarily for when mixing music on my pc. They give a great response and really let you hear the bass without distortion. Fully-enclosed for letting you concentrate on what you are listening to rather than what other noises may be emitted elsewhere. I also use these for dj-ing and again the sound is great as the headphones keep the sound in whilst the speakers are pumping! The nice, long length of the cable is generous and handy and also comes with a device to tidy it up if it is too long for your needs. This gets 5 stars for price alone.
Seinheiser Hd202 are great May 31, 2008 David Douglas Ritchie 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these to go with my Samsung YP-U3 MP3 player and the results have passed all expectations. The HD202 have a bias towards base but they are still clear in the mid-range and treble, and using the graphic equaliser on the YP-U3 player I can get exactly the sort of sound I want. I have other headphones which I use with my 4000 hi-fi system costing 34 and 65 and these HD202s are just as good. If you are wondering what to get, get these - you won't be disappointed, especially at the price.
Great sound, comfortable March 20, 2008 W. Borzynski (UK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered these for use with my Ipod at college, etc. First of all, i wasn't expecting them to be that good (for 12), but the sound quality is great, everything is clear and it isolates outside sounds great. If you are looking for headphones with so much bass, that its the only thing you can hear, this might not be for you, but they do have a very good sound, with realistic bass, they are comfortable enough, and not too flashy looking, so you won't get mugged on the street for wearing them.
