3 out of 5 stars Good Sound, Poor Design   September 2, 2008
Duncan Simpson (Glasgow)
These headphones deliver as the reviews promise, good sound. I will be using them for recording various music and confident they will do the job. Thankfully this will be behind closed doors, the design is very poor. They look good in the picture (which on amazon I would argue is back to front and misleading) they look better turned around (left speaker on right ear) a mistake i made instantly and had to make sure I knew my right from left. Very large band makes them look like a space helmet! Not impressed by the look, cheap plastic and cheap mechanics for adjusting phones. Your putting your money in for the sound here, described as "Designed for portable use" its a flimsy frame that won't stand up to much and i'm glad i dont have to wear them for my Mp3 as I wouldn't like to be out in public with these! Maybe its me, I do have a smallish sized head and short hair but i am still disapointed in such a poor aesthetic from such a big name. Suppose thats a downfall in internet shopping that i couldn't find a picture of the headphones on a person model. No one else has mentioned this as far as I can see so make your own call, i'm not a fashion expert by any means.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely no complaints, especially at the price   August 5, 2008
The Elk
Thanks to an ear infection I had to stop using my trusty Sony in-ear headphones and, surprisingly, these sound just as good. The bass response is the best I've ever heard from a pair of outer-ear headphones and they block out most of the sound from outside, so you don't need to turn them up too loud. Plus there's the price - sure, it doesn't mean they're 'disposable' exactly, but it does mean I have no qualms about just chucking them in my laptop bag.

1 out of 5 stars Defective cable   June 30, 2008

I received my headphones today and promptly had to return them - the cable is faulty so that the sound cuts in and out when you move it. It is a shame because the sound quality was really good, when I could hear it! I guess that's what you get for buying cheap Chinese-made stuff, even if it has got a good brand name. I'm off to find some more expensive ones.

4 out of 5 stars Great quality sound   April 19, 2008

Just got these and I was amazed at the sound - wouldn't expect anything less from Sennheiser. Crystal-clear, crisp sound, superb bass...

One word of caution though with this model: You may not notice from the photo, but they are not adjustable and, depending on your head size, you might find them a bit tight - at least to start with. But they are pretty light, so they don't really hurt - unless, I suppose, they're worn for hours and hours on end.

Overall, great headphones!

5 out of 5 stars I am listening to them now - big smile on my face!!   April 12, 2008
Waseem (Oxford)
I have read and read and searched forums high and low for a good set of reasonably priced headphones. I wanted them mainly for late night gaming & TV. I spent a tenner on some lightweight philips - they're OK but I knew I was missing out.

My research led me to the eh150's and boy am I glad I bought them. The bass, clarity and the visual field is stunning - feels like you've got 100 cans on. They do fit tight but to be honest not many closed headphones feel much better (I've got a big head and big ears).

You just want to keep putting them on and chucking more sound their way and letting them just keep hitting you with the most amazing reproduction - Sounds you didn't even know were there!

ADD to basket - simple as that!
