4 out of 5 stars Great equipment   July 22, 2008
Chris (UK)
I've had this cross trainer now for a few months, and haven't experienced any problems with it so far. It provides a great cardiovascular workout - even though the resistance on mine doesn't seem to be enough - and will get the blood flowing and muscles pumping. I'm of average build and size, and the thing is stable and secure... though one of the nuts comes slightly loose after a long session, but can be easily tightened.

I've not looked into it yet, but I think the electronic monitor might be giving misreadings. It told me I did four miles in around five minutes, which I don't think is right.

Instructions were clear, and setup was relatively quick, taking around an hour (plus the time taken to get the thing unpackaged!). Overall, I'm very pleased to have it... though I need to use it more!!

1 out of 5 stars Works ok, but questionable build quality   July 5, 2008

We had this trainer for about three months and used it twice daily until the bolts securing the pedal to the handles sheared along with the actual metal which actuated the handle.

Upon closer inspection the metal looked like mild steel which over time had become weak.

The principle of the device is fine, but the materials used in it's construction are very poor

5 out of 5 stars Really good recommended even the laziest person can get fit   May 25, 2008

I bought this trainer based on the reviews and haven't been disappointed, easy to put together, started off with 5 mins and very breathless but just 6 weeks on and daily use i'm up to 3 , 15mins sessions a day which are easily done and I can burn upto 600 cals, i really didn't like the idea of home gym but this is fuss free and easily fits around my lifestyle .

1 out of 5 stars Avoid this product   May 17, 2008

At first it seemed like this trainer would prove to be a good buy.
It came at a great price, was easy to put together and came with all the necessary assembling tools.

However, after a few workouts the trainer parts became loose and needed frequent tightening. Once one of the pedals became loose (one of the only parts to come pre-assembled), I decided to return this product.

Overall, I think this is a fragile item that could be more robust. I also
think that it's current weight limit of 100kg is over optimistic...the manufacturers should reduce it to 80kg. Perhaps then, the trainer would be less likely to fal apart after just a few uses.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   April 30, 2008

I had a look at a few places before buying this cross-trainer and I have to say I am very pleased with it. A few of the reviews said that it is was hard to set up, but I disagree. I found it very simple and easy to set up and easy to use and adjust. Now for a work out!
