After using my friends lighter ankle wieghts (1kg) for a few hours while playing basketball i decided to purchase soem of my own a little heavier. After reading all the reviews i decided these would be the best value for money. After recieveing them 12:30 this morning i went to play basketball with them on and after 5 minutes of practicing (three-quarter pace as it is impossible to print in them) i noticed a rip in the neoprone coating just beneath the york velcro strap. If you decide to purchase these If any ankle wieghts at all i recommend getting 1-0.5kg maybe 1.5. DO NOT GET 2KG!! unless you will only be walking in them

They are very excellent weights. I have used them many times whilst running at full speed on the treadmill. Definitely worth getting.

the problem was very simple; at the second time of using these ankle weights for a light jog both weights split open at the seems causing the fragmented weights inside to go every where including filling up my shoe. I fail to see how these could be suitable unless you will only be walking or cycling with them.
