Be careful though! April 24, 2008 PeDRo (UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought one of these about 18 months ago from Costco and agree with other reviewers - great size, exceptionally well padded and knew that if the laptop took a knock then it would be well protected. Unfortunately after about 9 months, the binding tape either side of the zip started wearing away due to laptop rub and resulted in two holes forming on the top of the pack. Laptop was 15.4"....I just think the zip material could have been reinforced at these pressure points. My advice would be to put some material on the top edge of the laptop where it comes close to touching the zip to stop this from happening.
a combination of quality and value March 16, 2008 Honest John (Surrey, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I travel frequently, and my preferred airport of departure is Gatwick, where they now rigorously enforce a policy of allowing one piece of hand luggage on board a flight. I therefore needed to find a bag that would allow me to carry my laptop along with all the other paraphernalia that I usually take with me. This bag has proved to be perfect. The laptop section comfortably holds my rather large HP along with cables and mouse, whilst the other large pocket carries documents and a change of clothes. A medium sized front pocket carries my chunky Canon digital SLR with attached wide-angle zoom lens. A top pocket is conveniently located and sized to hold my wallet, iPod and mobile phone. They even have a clever little hole through which you can thread your headphones to listen to the iPod whilst it is stored safely inside the bag. From the outside, a total of 8 external zipped pockets of various sizes and two webbed pockets is accessible, with a few more useful zipped webbed pockets hidden way inside. The bag is comfortable to carry, robust, and you only have to look at it to see the quality. A really great bag and truly good value at the price.
I bought one March 8, 2008 Mr. M. Glover 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought one of these bags in America about 3 years ago. Im still using it now and it is excellent. Loads of pockets and very well made. Good protection for your laptop. Great for weekends away, laptop, wash gear and a change of clothes, jump on the plane!
The best... October 11, 2007 Moonshine (UK) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Simply the best I have used - comfortable and extremely organised so you can find everything. I usually just have a laptop, charger, A4 Filofax, umbrella and rain coat and it's great hopping on and off tubes and buses without having to lug a wheelie bag up and down stairs. For those nights away it's big enough to add a couple of shirts, a pair of trousers, smalls and wash kit and still get it all in (RyanAir's) hand luggage. The only regret I have is I paid twice as much (though still think it's worth it!!)
