a good addition, but not life changingApril 28, 2008 Mr. A. R. Knott A perfectly good mitt, it adds protection, is far less time consuming than wraps and are easily washed. The down side being the lack of wrist support and some less than brilliant stitching. On the whole though, for the price, I'm pretty happy with them.

I'm very impressed these mitts. Having a pretty hard punch bag I wanted something to give me additional padding to protect my knuckles during long sessions on the bag. I found these do the job nicely, the fact that they're elasticised also means that they fit closely so they're not too bulky under boxing gloves.
Overall I'd say they are an excellent alternative to hand wraps. Traditionalists might not like them but they're a lot less time consuming to put on!
