Product Description The 6 pack abs is the latest abs crunching machine to hit the UK and it can be said that it is far more robust than other ab crunching machines on the market with a strong sturdy design with major stress points reinforced with strong but lightweight steel. It could be said that with the six pack abs you are getting an ab crunching machine which as learnt a lot of the lessons from earlier ab crunching machines, which will help you to get that great looking defined abdominal area with a simple fitness & exercise programme. The 6 Pack abs comes with five levels of resistance from 15lbs to 55lbs. Giving you a complete six second exercise programme. Suitable for both beginners and athletes. Perfect Form: With 6 Pack Abs, you'll never have to do crunches on the floor again. Maintain the proper form for a more effective crunch while in a comfortable, seated position. Perfect Tempo: 6 Pack Abs guides you through a perfectly-paced crunch. 6 pack abs review August 24, 2008 A. Thom (King's Lynn, Norfolk) Six Pack Abs I purchased the 6-pack abs system on May 15th this year(2008) and have had more positive results, a lot quicker, than I did from doing crunches and sit-ups. It is easy to use, and does what it is supposed to do effectively and quickly. As with all excercises, you get out what you put in, how quickly this happens is down to you. I have also used 6 second abs, which wasn't bad, but not as good as this, an ab-roller(similar to sit-ups), with little effect. Sit ups give you a serious backache, as did the ab-roller. The only negative I have is the tension bands break often.
Rubber bands June 19, 2008 Stanley (Milton Keynes, UK) It's a good exerciser as a portable piece when away from home but I've broken two bands already and if I can't get a replacement, I won't be able to use it. Please advise me as to where I can buy replacement bands.
Waste of time May 22, 2008 Mr. D. Bird I tried and tried to get this thing to work for me but I just couldn't get a decent sit-up out of it. The instructions could have been a lot better. I think you could probably get a better work-out lying down with your feet on a chair and trying to do regular sit-ups. Now I just use this device to tone up my arms.
Gimmcky rubbish March 8, 2008 Dr. P. G. HOLLYWOOD (Essex, England) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Sit-ups are far more effective for toning the abdominal muscles, and weight loss essential for showing the old six-pack. Save your money!
Harsh reviews too harsh February 22, 2008 Mr. A. V. A. Markham (Uk) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Well I will disagree with the fact that it work your arms if you use it properly it dose really work your abs just follow the specific instruction however I will agree that you need low body fat but this was never meant to create abs as you've had those all along just tone and define them which it would say it dose quite well and considering sit ups hurt my ass a good purchase for me -just follow instructions -rubbers bands (there 6 of em you only use 2 at a time(different tensions for difficulty adjustment) haven't broken on me yet (had it 3 weeks) but well see
