Watch the sizeAugust 8, 2008 Allen(Worcestershire) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this bike for my 10 year old son and it's a lot bigger than most 24" I had to replace the bar the seat sits on (the one supplied with the bike is too long and hits the rear suspension if you try to drop it low) the lowest it goes as supplied is 32" from saddle to floor - not suitable for an inside leg of 24" as described! Apart from that it's a nice bike, had a go myself, (its big enough for an adult to ride!) gears and brakes work well and he's now very pleased with it, shame I had to modify it.
Nice bike, a couple of small flawsMarch 31, 2008 Elizabeth Sterling(UK) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I got exactly what I expected, it came together easily, was delivered on time and worked from word one though that's not to say it's perfect. The grip shift gears are clumsy and irritating and require a lot of fiddling as you ride to sort out and the wrench provided with the bike? Don't use it. It's so thin it'll just carve in to your bolts and grind and bend away when you try to tighten things properly. It's just not strong or thick enough for the job it's designed for.
That said riding it has been a pleasant experience thus far and I feel I got good value for money. Despite that I'm unsure if I could reccomend it simply because when I got it it was significantly cheaper than the 100 it's currently being offered for.
