3 out of 5 stars Not bad for the price fiddly to fit.   May 17, 2008

Bought this so I could get an idea on how far I've gone etc when out riding. Fitting was fairly easy until you get to the one that you fit on the fork which was really fiddly because of the brake mounting. After I finally managed to get it to stay on I was gutted to find it didn't work. On reading the manual the distance between the magnet you attach to the spoke and the part you attach to the fork needs to be 5mm. The only way I could achieve this was to place some bits of foam to act as spacers on the fork and fiddle with the fork bit until it finally stayed in place.

Now it's on and working it's not to bad and does exactly what it says on the tin.

After looking at Sigma's web site only the wireless ones work with a distance of 20mm. If I'd have known I would have invested in a wireless model so there's no problem with the distance after attaching to the fork.
