Great glasses, rubbish customer service October 8, 2008

Whilst I do like the glasses, I would seriously recommend thinking about ordering any glasses from Oakley ever again. I lost one arm of them on the Underground - you can NOT get a spare part from Oakley. Not in their London Shops, NOT from their UK based customer service. You have to, get this, send the "remaining glasses" in via registered mail, pay GBP 14 to have them "evaluate what's wrong with them" (duh!) and then wait patiently for about 2-3 weeks before you get them back.
Wanting my sunglasses back before a holiday, I sent them off THREE weeks before, you would reckon they could clip a left arm onto the frame, this takes about 10 seconds, even for a low paid monkey. After 14 days and no update, I called to find out they are waiting for a spare parts shippment from the USA. And they don't even know what's going to be in the next package until Thursday (parts only arrive on Mondays).
Hence, I am once again without my Oakley glasses on a holiday, let alone having to put up with the stupidity of having to send the glasses in for "evaluation", when I am perfectly capable of identifying the "issue" - a clip-in left arm is missing.
Also, the lenses scratch INCREDIBLY easily, beware!
