Good on a calm day November 4, 2008

We bought one of these this summer (2008) and the metal poles broke on its second outing! Luckily we got a free replacement from the retailer (not amazon). We did have one side up which might have caught the wind. I'm sure it would be fine in a sheltered spot or on a calm day. The material is not rated as waterproof but we found water ran off it just fine and kept us dry. I would conditionally recommend this product.
