| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Micropacker Compact LED Lantern from Coleman. The smallest lantern in the Coleman range, the Micropacker? is so compact and yet so bright. Can be used as an area light or for directional light with the sliding reflector that projects light forward. Two LED bulbs ensure that this light is bright.

| Customer Reviews:
Too few very bright LEDs and inadequate diffusion. There's better out there. August 30, 2008 Kieran Madden 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this for a rock festival along with another camp light. We ended up using the other one more. The trouble with this is that it's trying to do too much. The LEDs are very bright - but because there's not enough of them and the light is poorly diffused, the contrast between the tiny and very bright spots on the lantern and the immediate area they're trying to illuminate is too great. You end up being blinded by - and your eyes adjusting to - the bright LEDs, while unable to see much around the lantern. It's like shining a torch in your eyes and expecting to be able to see what you're doing. We ended up using the Micropacker with the sliding reflector raised and the front facing the side of the tent; that gave a reasonable amount of reflected light without blinding us, but still wasn't enough for us to see what we were doing properly. The 20+3 LED camplight by Sunnflair is much better - it has 3 brightness levels, with the highest setting being more than enough to illuminate a small-medium tent if properly positioned. It's much easier to attach to a high point in the tent and is not much bigger and no heavier than the Micropacker.
