Great value June 9, 2008 F. Shaw (Highlands, Scotland) Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He loved it and spent a lot of time playing with it. Easy to use, great value for money, educational and most importantly a lot of fun. Says for 8 years and over, but he didn't have a problem completing any of the items. Highly recommend this one.
Fun and interesting February 5, 2008 R. A. Collinge I have started to use this with my 10 year old grandson. It is well made, has clear instructions and a large number of components. The fan- or flying disc if the polarity is reversed- produced much amusement. We also managed to blow 2 fuses- but that's how you learn. I rang John Adams who have promptly sent 17 yes 17 spare fuses for free! A good kit and top class service. Nice to find.
The best toy I puchased this christmas! January 7, 2008 Mr. Liam Higgs (uk) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had no idea what this toy was and brought it purely on the back of amazon reviews..... It was worth every penny! My 10 year old son (& 12 yrs daughter!) have had a whale of a time making flying saucers, lie dectors, light shows, I could go on! The instruction manual is very easy to read making every circuit straight forward and fun to build.
A rare worthwhile quality educational toy October 20, 2007 D.N.Wijewardane (Colombo, Sri Lanka) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My children, 10 and 8, continue to enjoy this well built, safe, educational and entertaining toy for several years. There are lots of increasingly difficult circuits to make and the instruction manual is clear and comprehensive, from the simplest and the most complex. You end up learning a lot of electronic circuitry and this is more than ample to stir any curiosity. It is one of the very few "toys" that lasts (that said a small defect (crack) in the battery case was promptly replaced by the maker, painlessly). Fully worth the higher price and I wish the manufacturer did more of this class.
Easy to use and great service August 3, 2007 Mist of Time (UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The manual is clear and this has provided a lot of fun - rechargeable batteries help! We had a problem with a part, emailed the address in the manual and had a new part with no trouble. Excellent all round!
