Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars It does not work   July 29, 2008
engine near (UK)
The assembly of this kit went quite well. The instructions were followed and no major problems until you go to fit the timing belt. Dissaster.
First the belt was mis-shapen and would not fit over the cogs. There was no way it would work. The other point to notice was that the cogs had far too much play (30 degrees)on the shaft which did not allow the timing to function at all. Everything stopped at this point. Could not complete the project and no way to contact support. It is still there with no sign of it being completed. I know it is plastic, but it should at least work to some degree.
I have the jet engine to build next with the granchildren, hope that goes better.
