Advise caution August 28, 2008 Ms. C. Hulley (UK) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have had other brands of ab belt in the past so wasn't worried about using this one. However, when the product came I looked for rubber pads to attach to the belt&skin only to find out that the metal buttons are actually the part that make contact with your skin. I slapped on the conductive gel liberally but after using for 60 minutes I was left with cuts where the metal had seemingly burnt my skin. Six weeks later I still have the marks. Could be user error but I am not stupid and if I can make this mistake I'm sure most people could too. Just be cautious not to overuse it and to make sure you top up the conductiv gel after every ten minute session.
not much good June 14, 2008 A. Chapman (England) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
When i saw this piece of equipment for just 10 i thaught what a deal, the truth is, it really isnt. The pads either tickle you a little or cause you great pain. there aren`t enough levels of adjustment and it feels "lop sided". My personal opinion would be to spend the extra bit of cash and buy a better system.
Doesn't feel safe to use! May 7, 2008 Robert (London) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
Started using it, but found it hard to control. The idea is great, and once you get it going, it is ok, but getting to that point isn't really that safe. There are 4 separate sets of controls (each with 3 buttons) to the device, and once the device is fitted, it is near impossible to see which control does what. The buttons don't always work quickly, so it is easy to press them a few times thinking it hasn't worked, then to acknowledge them all together by which time the electricity is very high. It is worth spending 10.00 to find out if you like it! Personally, I don't like it
Waste of money doesn't work. April 3, 2008 T. M. Brooks (London) 24 out of 26 found this review helpful
This works by putting an electric current through your stomach to stimulate the muscles. The idea being to work your muscles so they get stronger. However in order to gain a six pack via this method the amount of current required would probably kill you. This belt actually hurts when you use it and is of very little use. If you want a sick pack then do some proper sit ups.
