Picture is okay. Run on vista the software in the box didn't work. downloaded the driver from the website and it worked fine. Only in Skype though. All other video capture software refused to recognise it. I could record video but NOT sound on to my PC, either from the camera's built in mic or an aditional mic. Useless. Its cheap looking in the box and even cheaper in performance. Go elsewhere, please.

Works fine on a Mac (Mac OS 10.4.11) except that the microphone doesn't work. There's a note on Sogatel's website that says the microphone is not compatible with Macs.
Fortunately I don't want to use the microphone.
I got it up and running in a moment once I'd visited the Sogatel website and downloaded the drivers - there are no Mac drivers in the box but there's a leaflet telling you where to get them. Configuring it to run with Skype seemed simple - though you do need to quit the Skype application and restart it before it recognises there's a camera available.

My first Mac webcam so I dont have a lot to compare to; picture quality is very good and it was easy to install. All round very pleased. Very fast delivery too.

Bought two of these when it was still being described as "logitech style" .
Actually a good image for the price but the microphone jack plug very poor quality, difficult to get and retain a connection so really not fit for purpose. Not really a bargain, I would say go elsewhere, perhaps a real logitech or what I beleive to be of very good quality anything from Creative.
When I complained supplier did forward a returns form, but couldnt be bothered to make the effort.

Bought this slightly worried that its claim to be compatible with Mac might prove unfounded (having read an online review that stated baldly - 'this does not work'). Well it does work - perfectly as far as I can see (although I've only been using it with Skype so can't vouch for other bits of software you might want to use it with). The fact that the mic is not mac compatible doesn't matter because the internal computer mic works fine. Good quality picture. Good price. Very happy.
