It's perfectly good and good looking August 29, 2008 E. Pilkington (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a little confused by the two reviews I've just read. I'm working here listening to MP3's on my T2 which is sitting inside it's proporta case. The socket lines up with the hole both with the phillips SHN2500 that I'm using now and with the generic headphones I also have with a right angled connector fitted. There is a downside to the access to that earphone port in that you have to thread the plug through with the front flap open, then connect to the PDA before closing. A 'book' style instead of a flip top would be better from this resepct, but then a book style case wouldn't fit into my dashboard holder that came with the satnav system for the PDA. I have had this PDA and case for almost 3 years now and it has taken a great deal of punishment in the way of bumps, drops and knocks. The case has protected the PDA with one exception - there is a dent in the bottom left corner of the PDA where the base is exposed. Finally, the case attaches to the PDA using the slot to the left side of the PDA. This means that the PDA can swing out from the case when open - a small piece of blu-tack behind the PDA has cured that problem. For me to have kept something like the T2 in one piece for this period of time has to be a testament to the case - it spends it's life on building sites, in workshops, landfills and waste transfer stations. The case is still as good looking as when it was bought and the few minor scrapes that it has picked up just add to it's looks.
Looks good, just does not protect the Palm November 29, 2005 Mrs. B. R. March 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Pity, the Palm was not that protected by this (the rigid metal plate is NOT a good idea, or at least the way that this one has been done). I have used other softer more protective PDA covers and been happy with them.
Good protection/looks but... April 28, 2005 47 out of 47 found this review helpful
This case provides protection and is not too bulky to keep your tungsten e in an inside suit pocket. Looks fine too. However I wanted to listen to mp3s via the microphone socket at the top of the tungsten and the hole in this case is too small to let the headphone jack (sony fonetopias if you're wondering) connect properly or even at all. I've cut the hole bigger and made a mess of it...If you want to use the headphone socket I'd suggest going for the case that opens like a book rather than this flip-top version. If you're not going to use the socket then the case should be fine.
