Product Description Techno NSD Powerball is the very latest addition to the exciting family of NSD Powerball products! This innovative gyroscope scrolls your achieved score 'magically' across the surface of the rotor (as opposed to displaying it instantly on a digital speed meter as with the other models in the range). The rotor also displays an entrancing collection of 'firelines' as it spins, ranging from red to blue in colour and giving an a truly amazing effect depending on the speed at which it is revolving.

Warning! October 4, 2008 J. Cregan 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm not sure if there is a warning on this product, but if not there should be. My daughter came home from school with a very large raised red mark on her arm and it was caused by some school boy placing the ball on her arm through clothing whilst it was spinning. The red mark turned into a scab and she now as a permanent scar on her arm. Just be careful when using this.
My 1st Power Ball... July 14, 2008 H. Alborno 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've heard so much about these Power Balls and actually was amazed how much people are speaking so good of them. So, I decided to get one and see what it's all about. After searching for I while I chose the Techno because it looks fun and has a neat ball-surface-display. As soon as I got it, it took me a while to get it started properly. After I did though, it was really amazing, the feeling of the resistance building up is phenomenal. I was addicted to it over night. I could feel my forearms working with the power building into the ball, the burning in your forearm muscles feels great when you're done. Two disappointments about it though. One, the string starting thing is limiting somehow. You can lose it or break it or whatever. It should have a simpler starting technique or a built-in one. I've seen many tutorials on starting the Power Ball with your thumb, didn't work for me. Two, the score reading is tricky and takes some practice to master, currently I'm hanging the ball from the strap to properly see the reading. I'm still practicing on getting a reading with the ball in my hand. Overall, it's a really really intersting product. Simple, effective, and soooo addictive. I might even purchase another one (different model) because it really works. Nice gadget for simple effective exercising.
Good but beware of blisters July 11, 2008 R. Talbot (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Having read previous reviews, I decided to purchase a powerball. It took a few goes to get the hang of it, but once I got it going it does exactly what it says on the tin. The only downside so far is that after a few goes on the first day, I developed a painful blister on the inside of my little finger where I had been gripping the ball, so have not really used it since as it's still sore. Any other users had this problem? Perhaps it should come with a pair of gloves.
Could be better? May 12, 2008 James Lloyd (Sullana, Peru + Oxfordshire, Uk) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
As a powerball, this works perfectly, the mechanism etc. However, the scoring system is tricky to work, and takes practice to get at. It looks cool, but you should buy a powerball with a computer.
Not as smooth or good as the original. April 30, 2008 Mr. Imran Ahmad (Birmingham, UK.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This unit was not as smooth as the original 250Hz version, I was quite disappointed with it, and it would stick in about 3 places (maybe the dynamo magnet/coil effect or uneven weight distribution or crap bearings) and would not spin nowhere near as fast as the original one, sent it back and got a refund. Maybe it was a dud one but it was enough to put me off buying the all singing all dancing version of this gadget, I'll stick to the original 250Hz version without the display since all I use it for is exercise/rehabilitation.
