At 70 nobody can moan August 12, 2008 Neil Collins (Manchester, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Assembled the bike fairly quickly because to be honest there's not that much to do and took it for a ride. Rides fine although the rear brake was catching slightly but all that was needed was a slight adjustment. All in all I don't think you can moan because you'd be hard pushed to find anything cheaper. I'd say this bike is spot on for anyone looking at the 100 and under range. Divided opinions I see on this one but in my view it's worth the asking price.
Looks Good. That's about it really. August 10, 2008 Rafique Miah (London, UK) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
PART I: I bought this bike, assembled it, and took it out for a ride, five minutes later the front disk brake jammed, i also realised the gears were'nt in harmony with the chain, after contacting Amazon i was promptly sent a replacement the next day. PART II: I assembled the replacement bike a week after receiving it as i had to go away, this time the breaks were working fine, but the handle bars were slipping out of their niche, no matter how hard i tightened them they would eventually start moving again, and of course the gears were still rubbish, as a bonus the bell was jammed as well. PART III: Have now asked Amazon for a refund which i'm waiting on, and just purchased the "Silverfox Serpent", it rides a treat and is as light as you can get.
Its a Good Bike Value for money August 3, 2008 Mr. T. E. Harney (UK) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I got this bike not from amazon but from another online company and its my lost as i would of saved some money. But in general its a good bike for the money easy to fix up as one of the another comments said 3 things to do handle bars, front wheel, and seat easy to do the rides great gears are ok i feel that the other comments against this value for money bike you could take with a few raise eyebrows.for 70 its a bargain worth the money go on treat yourself keep you fit that's why i got one happy biking enjoy.
Terrible bike August 2, 2008 N. A. Azadi (UK) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
I made a big mistake buying this bike two weeks ago, but you don't! Three times punctured at first three days that I used it. Neither rear V brake nor the front disc didn't work properly. Other Observations... Bent rear rim and front disk, not working rear indexes properly, not harmony between chain and gears, ... All in all, waste of money!
Beware of this bike July 25, 2008 Mr. Timothy Price (Plymouth) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a terrible bike. The gears jammed on it within 5 minutes of riding it. The assembly instructions were very poor. The manual that came with the bike was for a completely different make and type of bike. A friend looked at it and told me the chain did'nt align with the gears correctly. The chain rubbed against its guard. The build quality was terrible. The only good things about this bike were amazon where quick in picking it up and paid for the return postage.
