There are a few special things in this world that make me cry, the redness of a rose in spring, a baby's cry and ofcourse the spiritual excitement of young Duran Duran. These things-except for the last-i do not care for, but the feel of sliding my foot into this sock is unbridaled. You may ask but why spend my hard earned my hard money on such an item as this, but just step back from the glitz and glammer and look at-the sock. It is the most over looked fashion item in history and possibly the clincher in love. Would juliet ever have loved Romeo if he had not worn Calvin Kline winter socks-no. If you and a friend were vying for the love of a young woman try flashing her some ankle in a new black fine sock-it may just be the start of heqading to the altar. Now dear reader your humble narrater will take you on a journey to of the sock, in 1620 a young by the name of Yo Han Vander Sock was desparetly in love with a fair virgin, and he knew he was not as handsome, witty or even had hair on his armpits so he worked all night and day and one fateful he arrived at her house with a special prize-a sock.
The fair virgin was amazed at the warmth and seamless fit of the sock that she offered her hand in marrige-the next day!
Since then socks have been a part of world culture, Steven Spielberg made E.T. a worldwide blockbuster-he wears socks. Would Indy have saved the world without his sock-no he would have spent the trip trying to keep his feet warm, and where would we be then. Nowhere-thats where.
