Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
It doesnt get more English than this, the England kit continues to be the top selling kit in the World, a sign that the whole World knows where football was born. As one of the two oldest national football teams in the world, its not hard to see why England inspires such passion in its fans. Theirs has been a history full of drama ever since the first official international football match on 30th November 1872 against Scotland. The legendary 1966 World Cup final saw Geoff Hurst score a hat-trick against West Germany, earning England a 4-2 victory and the winners trophy. Since then, England has gone on to enjoy many footballing successes. Under manager Bobby Robson, the team reached the quarter finals of the 1986 World Cup while Gary Lineker took home the Golden Boot for scoring the most goals in the tournament. The 1990 FIFA World Cup was a memorable and emotional one for England fans; defeated by West Germany in the semi-final on penalties alone. Gazzas tears after receiving a yellow card became one of footballs most iconic images. 1996 saw the European Championship take place in England, with the home side reaching the semi-final. Since the 1990s England has remained in the worlds top twenty football teams. Under new manager, Fabio Capello, the England team have entered a new era and will be hoping that the Italian can lead them to qualification for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Throughout all of this history its always been Umbro whove supplied the kit. This is as authentic as it gets..the 3 lions, the umbro badge...bring it on!
