Best Shoes Ever! May 20, 2008 Happy Feet (Scotland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
To tell the truth I never seen the attraction in these type of shoes, the appearance is not something I would pick, and the price of other brands ( 30) was even more off putting. I found these shoes on the net a thought I would give them a go since they are a good bit cheaper and boy are they comfy! From speaking to other people these shoes are also better fitting than crocs, having rather narrow feet is a bonus. I can't believe I took so long to search for these shoes on the net! They are so comfy that even my spiller have been tossed aside! I would recommend everyone to purchase these shoes and at this price you really cant go wrong! The only downside to these is deciding what colour to buy next :-)
Happy feet ! May 4, 2008 Mrs. J. M. Gosney (Nottinghamshire, U.K.) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'm female,60, with osteoarthritis of the big toe joints (1st metacarpo-phalangeal joints) & pain in the ball of the feet (metacarpal heads).I have had pain, severely limiting walking, for more than 3 years,& as walking is one of my favorite hobbies,I was getting despondent about it. An orthopaedic surgeon advised "rocker" soled trainers -- very expensive & heavy--excellent for the toe but caused huge raw heel blisters because there was no flex in the sole at all so rubbed ++. Luckily, encouraged by positive reviews on AMAZON, I bought some Holey Soles--fantastic result--I can walk miles with NO foot pain. I am size 6--the MEDIUM is a bit big (solved with an insole) the SMALL a bit small but eases with wear. Because they are narrower than similar styles they hold the foot better. Now on my 3rd pair with a new pain-free life. The weight is negligible-like walking on air-I'm 60 but my feet feel age 10 again!
Simply the best.. February 6, 2008 S. James (Liverpool - England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Had a little trepidation before paying more for these than others I've seen. My worries were totally unfounded. I bought these for my holidays - I wear them in the house every day still. They're the most comfortable things you'll ever wear. I'm delighted with mine.. and would buy them again, except I don't think these will ever wear out!!
Sizing January 7, 2008 S. Mcgranaghan (manchester UK) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
They look and feel as good as the originals although the sizing is vague. As a women with 6.5 to 7UK or 40 Euro size feet boardering on a broad foot I ordered a medium Adult. They are like boats, long that is although the width is fine. At least a half size too big and the stap keeps falling down. A point of interest is that underneath they state M6-7 W8-9. Is that Men and Women. I'll leave that for you to decide!!!
Not as hardwearing as Crocs December 22, 2007 Ms. S. E. BURR (Lancaster, U.K.) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of genuine Crocs locally at first, and loved them from the start. After a few weeks, I discovered Holey Soles on Amazon at 10 cheaper so bought about 3 pairs. However, after a few weeks wearing mainly the blue Holey Soles, one day in wet weather I slipped (gently) down to the ground. More embarassing than painful! On looking at the underneath of my blue Holey Soles I saw the tread had worn almost smooth on the heel part of the shoe. Previous to buying the Holey Soles,I'd been wearing my Crocs for many weeks, and the tread was still there. After that I cancelled a further order for Holey Soles and threw my blue ones in the bin - from now on I am sticking to Crocs. By the way, IF you can get hold of them, the new Mammoth Crocs are wonderful in really cold weather. My devotion to Crocs is because they are now the only shoes I can walk really well in these days, as I have arthritis in both feet, so I don't really care if they look naff!
