Amazon.co.uk Review
Those unfamiliar with Tae-Bo, or else too impatient to work through learning it, should note that you get what you pay for upfront in Tae-Bo Abs and Glutes: namely the abs and glutes workout, with a warm-up and cool down either side.

Tae-Bo is an exercise regime based on combining dance with karate moves. Its creator has a torso that looks like it owes more to body building, and a teaching style that seems to be army inspired. This is no softie Mr Motivator, but a tough American whose workout will certainly yield results--if you can hack it. The appeal here is not only that this is unisex, but also that it's hard work. If you can't make it, console yourself by spotting the poor individuals who can't keep up in the back row of the Blanks session (and that's before the seven-minute warm up's even over). As the man says, if you want to get those Speedos on in the summer, squeeze those butts. --Lorna V

5 out of 5 stars Suberb Dvd   July 10, 2007

I must admit I was dubious about buying this DVD even with the fantastic reviews I had read, however now I have the DVD, it's fantastic. I've found that billy is really motivating which is unusual for a DVD as normally they just iritate me. Also the extras who are also doing the routine all seem to be having great fun - a great workout too but they're enjoying it too which insires you to keep going. It's tough to start with but if you keep at this one your'll deffinitly reap the rewards.

My advice... if in doubt about this one, buy it anyway as I think you'll enjoy the fantastic and fun workout

WOW.... I have tried so many excersie DVd's and get bored of them so quickly having a short attention span and can never make myself do them more than twice.. I have had this for about a month now and without fail do the dvd at least 4-5 times a week!!!! its great and what a fantastic workout too. the actual workout is about 30 mins long but I feel like I've been training for 2 hours! I've now ordered a few more as I'm so impressed would recommend to anyone... plus get a look at billys 6 pack mmmmm enough to make me train again and again lol

Excellent workout!!! If you haven't spare free time to go to gymnasium, you must have this dvd. Maybe a little bit difficult to understand if you are not english, but the images are very easy to follow!

5 out of 5 stars Why aren't all Fitness DVDs like this?!   August 13, 2004

Before I was pregnant I used to go to the gym 4 times a week plus 3 step classes. I bought this DVD ( amongst others ) in anticipation of spending more time in the house with baby. A lot of the DVDs I have tried did not even break me into a sweat as I was quite fit before baby. This is fun, enjoyable, easy to follow and BB is a great motivator. I could get through this all the way through on the first attempt but now I just do it again with leg weights and dumbells to make it harder as this is simply great fun. I would say this is equally suitable for beginners not only of Tae-Bo but also of Fitness Classes in general. I am saving for the whole series.

This program is excellent is extremly effective and most enjoyable. Billy Banks is more than qualified to get people fit having been a seven time world karate champion. With this you will actually enjoy working out. A better alternative than a treadmill.
