Product Description Perfect for all your outdoor activities, the GPSMAP 76CSxwill follow you everywhere. This appliance has an SD memory card slot that allows you to store several detailed maps. Completely waterproof, you can transform your GPSMAP 76CSx into a marine GPS. In addition, you will no longer lose or damage your navigator as this GPS floats in water. The GPSMAP 76CSx also has a USB connection so you can download maps very quickly. Compatible with all extreme sports, this high-sensitivity GPS has a satellite receiver that will enable you to identify your exact location, even in difficult conditions, such as in a dense forest or the side of a steep valley. Furthermore, the GPSMAP 76CSx has a barometric altimeter to give you precise altitude information and an electronic, high-precision compass. The GPSMAP 76CSx is one of Garmin's leading GPS systems as it is compatible with most route and marine maps.

What no map! July 9, 2008 Mr. M. Showell 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Ok that's not true, I can see the M54 and the A41; oh and you get a good outline of the Country but no detail. The unit itself seems quite well built but the manual starts at the wrong end i.e. it tells you how to use it before it tells you how to set it up. So far I'm pretty disappointed given the great reviews I've read, I was expecting more in the basic package; I did not know that I would have to put my hand in my pocket again to buy even a basic map of the UK. I suggest anyone thinking of buying the 76Csx or any other Garmin product looks at the reviews of the UK TOPO maps. I still might send this back to the seller!
