don't forget a trasmitter/receiver!!! October 8, 2008 M. Jf Cullen I initially bought these to work with my SONY PS3 and guess what they are not compatible bluetooth systems. I mean SONY headphones + SONY PS3 ,I ask you,not compatible. I thought i would then at leat be able to use them with my MacMini with built in bluetooth.Guess what ,not compatible. I even e-mailed Sony to see what they will work with out of the box and i've to date had no reply. These may sound great so i'm going to reserve judgement. If you do decide to buy just don't forget to add another 30 for a headphone/out transmitter/receiver. *UPDATE* THESE NOW WORK WITH MY MAC (I WASNT PAIRING THEM PROPERLY.) SOUND IS GOO BUT NOT BRILL BUT THE WIRELESS ABILTY IS FAB.
Good for what they're designed for August 29, 2008 S. Medway 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought these to go with my laptop since I was fed up with wired headphones. If you're looking for the best audio quality then look at wired elsewhere; if like me you were looking for something that had a clear wireless signal, pretty good overall sound for listening to music and at reasonable cost then these are great. They're smaller than you may think, quick and easy to pair up with devices (I tested on ipaq and vaio no problem) and the price has come down recently too. A bargain for those seeking good bluetooth headphones to complement their laptop or other bluetooth enabled devices.
Very Good February 24, 2008 D. J. Hardy (London) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I paired these up with my PDA for music, films and telephone hands free and it works fine, my main objective was to use with Yahoo Voice on my Laptop and I spent a whole day trying to get them to work eventually finding the reason why, it was not to do with the headphones but SKYPE, Skype is such a bad company, I have heard many reports of their software "grabbing" files for exclusive use which rendered all other software useless so once Skype was dumped I can make and receive calls from Yahoo and MSN seamlessly. I found the quality of playback superb, such strong deep base, although I found mid to upper ranges constrained somewhat, that said it was just a case of tweaking a Graphics Equaliser to compensate, personally I prefer wireless non blue tooth to these and of course wired to wireless but neither of the latter connects to a phone so overall I am very pleased. There is no hiss or interference at all, I can venture into another room with only 1 wall between and still receive a perfect signal, but any more than that and the signal drops out. Switches are a little fiddly that said most are anyway until you get used to them. I took these out of the box at 8.00am without charging them and listen to music and phone calls till 11.30pm and the batteries continued until that point where I called it a day. They are very comfortable to wear. And yes if I had to replace these I would buy another pair.
Not all that great for the price. January 19, 2008 P. Jones 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got these head phones to use with my iPod. They're certainly very comfortable to wear, very snug fitting around the ears. For the most part sound reproduction is pretty good, no detectable hiss in quite music. The problem I have with these head phones though, and the reason I would mark them down heavily, is they can't cope very well at all with loud and heavy bass tones; the sound distorts terribly, and that's only when listening at a reasonably moderate volume level. I wouldn't recommend these, but it may depend on exactly what you're planning on listening to with them. If pounding rhythms and meaty bass are your thing you'd best look elsewhere, if not these may work a treat for you.
The next generation wireless headphone December 12, 2007 Mr. M. Allison (Carlisle, UK) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I am using these headphones with a Sony K850i mobile phone to listen to music and the results are excellent. The range is very good and I can move around my flat without loss of signal. I also use the headphones with my DELL Precison M90 laptop computers along with a Sitecom Bluetooth CN-512/521 v 2 interface and the results are extremely good to say the least
