Dreadful...but then again they are Sony's June 25, 2008 M. Scarlett 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've only had one pair of Sony's that I've liked, and these are them! the folding mechanism is ridiculous, and the sound is average at best. Go for the Koss Porta Pro headphones instead. Oh, and the only pair of Sony's I've like? The MDR-CD280's.
Great quality for the price. March 20, 2008 KaP (London, UK) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have always been using the in ear headphones due to the fact that they are discreet. I no that headphones like these do deliver better sound quality and are more friendly to your ear drums. I wanted some headphones that are not bulky and relatively smaller but deliver good quality sound. As some of the headphones are very bulky but delivery very good sound, so i was looking for a good compromise. I am a RnB and Hip Hop fan prodominantly but generaly listen to any song that has a good beat to it. After reading some reviews on other websites that say that it is good for this type of music I thought why not give it a chance. I like listening to a crisp baseline and these headphones give exactly that, without any rattling or "farting" sound. As soon as you put they feel comfortable on the ears due to the soft gel type material that covers the ears. Once on the headphones have a good grip to your head so that the part that connects the two ear phone pieces can be positioned at an angle, therefore just resting off the top of the back of the head, so if your worried about messing up ur hair it wont to a good degree. The folding mechanism is good for portability, can be a bit tedious at times but once u have the headphones on your good to go. Personally I am quite satisfied with my purchase as the price is good for the quality.
Sony Foldable Open Headphones November 14, 2006 london-uk (london, uk) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
Really depends what you want them for. The sound was surprisingly very good (I heard sounds I haven't before) and the fact they are foldable, are excellent. But they are not very comfortable; don't actually fit to your head all that well. And they are not very pleasing to the eye. I brought them for 15 in another shop as there was a price mistake. I wouldn't pay 30. Buy them if u desperately need very good very portable phones, if not, don't :) 3 and a half stars
