What can i say? awsome!!! July 5, 2008 iPod mad! What can i say? I was already impressed when i opened the box, very professionally displayed. I had the speakers up and running within 5 mins and easily plugged in my 2nd gen iPod Nano. The dock was brilliant, the iPod didn't move at all and then the sound... well im a musician so high quality sound is quite important to me and the sound from the iGroove blew me away. It is easily the best speakers i have ever heard,(and thats saying something as my parents own a pair of Rodger and Castle speakers which are incredible) the sound is so rich, the bass so deep and powerful and the high notes are delivered seamlessly. I was very impressed and so were all my family, and from such a small unit too!!! OK the remote isnt great but you dont really care when you have heard the sound. I cant compare it to the Bose sounddock as i have never heard one but i cant believe it can be much better than the iGroove and the iGroove is so much cheaper. For the quality you would expect it to be more in the 200 price range. I listen to a huge range of music from dance to rock to ballads to classical and the iGroove does it all. A definite 'Fantastic' from me!!! Well done Klipsch!
Awesome sound for the money July 4, 2008 Derek-M (Scotland) I bought this on the strength of the reviews and I have got to say I wasn't disappointed. Definitely the best I have listened to, and great value for money.
you can keep your bose mate June 28, 2008 Sidney (UK) Need not say more save a few quid and buy this dock you wont regret it. In my front room sat on a glass shelf with the wires chased into the wall and a aesthetically appealing black ipod classic in dock.....sweet. Rubbish remote mind but you cant have everything...looks ok just doesnt really work unless you are about an arms length from the dock!?!...and I have very short fat arms. Enjoy

I have, within the last week, become the owner of both an ipod touch (check my review on that if you want) and this speaker system. Before I go any further, I need to make it clear that this is not a Bose (or any other make) bashing excercise. My first exposure to the Bose Sound Dock was in a 5 star hotel in Dublin that has them in every room along with an ipod (or you can bring your own ipod and dock it) - nice touch I thought. The sound is good on them but it's the looks that I really like. So, I checked reviews on most ipod docks and had a decision to make. The Bose (I feel) is a little expensive so I opted for the Klipsh iGroove HG (which I ordered at the same time as the ipod touch). This was to sit in my living room and in truth I was a little worried as to how it would look. Worry I should not have done. Everything about this machine oozes quality. The box, the instruction manual in it's matt black envelope and even the clear wrapper around the iGroove is an indication that this is a labour of love for a company known for it's cinema sound systems. The machine itself is pure quality. Gloss black, simple and understated modern design with a reassuring weight. I sat it up in my living room and placed the ipod touch in it and the whole system is stunning. The looks are matched by the sound. I have tried everything from Brooker T and the MG's, Scissor Sisters, Massive Attack, to Ennio Morricone and it sounds rich and clear. To conclude, by all means go for a Bose which, regardless what others say is a lovely looking machine. However, it is at the very least matched by the Klipsh iGroove HG in looks and sound (I feel the Klipsch is better). So, if you are looking for a quality system for your ipod this is it. I just can't understand why Klipsch aren't selling this at a more expensive price as I feel they could more than double the price and still sell it. Just don't tell Klipsch that!
