Product Description This busy beach scene is history. What will the future be like for the next generation of bathers? Look into the puzzle and imagine how the happy holidaymakers of yesteryear might enjoy their visit to the beach today. 1000 piece novelty puzzle. The image you see on the box lid is not the puzzle picture. To complete the puzzle, imagine the same scene in the future. Puzzle size 48.5 x 68cm.

Utterly addictive! November 24, 2006 Mr. G. J. Williams (Skipton, North Yorkshire UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was the first Wasgij I've done, and it really was brilliant fun to do. I never thought I'd like doing a jigsaw, but Wasgij puzzles are more than just a jigsaw- they're a brainteaser and mini story aswell. The pictures are really detailed and funny, and I especially like the expressions on the people's faces. They look hard, but once you get into them you just won't be able to stop! I agree that the picture on the front is useful, and I would really like to see more Wasgij puzzles out in the coming year.
Beware you will get hooked! September 20, 2006 Mr. Glenn Cook (South Cave, near Hull UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was the 2nd Wasgij we've done now and I say we because my wife has found that 'mysteriously' the jigsaw appears done just that little more each morning after she has left it! It is excellent and the conversations it has produced have been excellent in the same way that Trivial Pursuit did. The box is of use (not as my fellow critic has stated) The scene is in the past and you have to imagine the same scene today. So you know which of the foreground figures should appear. The colours are similar but others are more subtle. The soldier is now in Khaki, the newspaper is a lurid 'Sun' type etc So for example if you find a policeman you know roughly where he will be on the pier. The fashions are a delight and there are plenty of jokes to discover. All in all very entertaining. More please!
Wasgij are a class apart April 25, 2005 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
With these puzzles, the picture on the box isn't a great deal of use. Depending on the type, you are either looking from an opposite perspective, or doing a puzzle from the future. Each one has a very humorous scene and can be devishly funny to do.
