I bought a pair of these and having read the other reviews bought them in a smaller size. What a mistake to listen to others-of course they were too small. They arrived and looked great but so disapointed that they didnt fit so had to send them back and now I am out of pocket. Moral to this-dont listen to other peoples comments on sizing-they are far to personal

These are blissful shoes to wear, so comfortable, I don't want to take them off! Great price too!
As other reviewers say, be careful with the sizing. I'm a size 7/7.5 in shoes, but tend to need an 8 in trainers, I opted for the size 7's and they are a perfect fit. Lightweight and 'bouncy' to walk in. They're smart enough to be called shoes, but have a trainer feel to them, call them what you want, but they are fab for your feet.

Had to get a size down (am a size 7 but size 6 fits excellently). I got the toffee one which is lovely brown velvety deep shade.
Beautiful, inconspicious, no striking glitters, flashiness - just plain simple lovely pair of trainers for day to day use. There's an extra lace given (a light brown colour and a dark colour one) when the product arrived which was lovely. Extremely comfortable... and will come back in a few months to let you know about the durability!

I just love these trainers!!! I do think that sketchers really do make the most comfortable trainers ever. When they first arrived i was worried because they did not look as wide as my others but after trying them on i was prooved wrong. The leather is so soft and comfy and they really are just perfectly comfortable even from the first day of wearing them. I am going to get another pair in a different colour. If in ant doubt about these shoes i would say Try them you wont be dissapointed.

First of all, I would like to thank the previous 3 reviewers for their helpful comments and tips. Being a size 4 normally, I bought size 3 and found these fitted perfectly, with a little of the length still to spare! Please note the merchant's sizing chart is incorrect - my Sketchers' box was labelled UK size 3, US size 6 (not 4.5 per the sizing chart!).
The toffee leather is indeed lovely, and fortunately was one of the 2 colours available for my size. I love the shiny deep chocolate brown. The shoes are smart looking and fit my feet perfectly, and I am particularly impressed with the soles' grip, the best of any shoes I have had to date. I was also impressed with the 2 pairs of laces to choose from.
One final observation is, being more used to Reebok and Nike, I initially found the uppers felt thinner and slightly flimsy in comparison with other trainers I have had to date. However, this can be a positive rather than negative point, as they are lighter than the average trainers and would pack well in my luggage when travelling. They may also keep my feet cool in warmer weather. And I have not noticed my feet being any less cosy in colder weather, so perhaps it was just a matter of getting used to a different make.
I have only had these shoes for less than a year, so have not yet had the opportunity to find out how hardwearing they are. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.
