The first time I got a pair of Birkenstock (Gizeh) I had already bought 2 other pairs of slippers (other brands) that summer. But ever since I got my Birkenstock I just didn't want to wear anything else! I tried wearing them at work (I had to stand for 8 straight hours) and just went back home not even feeling the slightest discomfort in my feet; when I wore other slippers, in an hour's time I was exhausted. Now every summer I try new models! This summer I got a pair for my mom as well (Madrid). Absolute comfort, great design. GOOD MONEY, that's what it is!

I love the Birkenstock Gizeh. When I slipped my foot into my very first pair it was like putting on a pair of the most comfortable slippers - my feet were immediately supported and I wore them for the whole day in complete comfort, as if I'd been wearing them all my life. Since then I have bought 2 pairs per year and wear nothing else in the summer, I even have a pair in gold for my holidays. The only downside is the funny shaped tan you get on your feet!
