After hearing al the hype about birkenstocks i thought i shld try them. i wish now i hadnt. After walkin around in them my feet hurt cos the sandals r so hard an uncomfortable an they gave me blisters!!!! wish i jst went to barrates in the first place an got a normal pair of sandals!

Great comfort and support, even for flat and wide feet (like mine). I bought two different sandals and am extremely happy with them. I have found myself forgetting to take them off :)

These are really fab on the feet, really comfy, and already noticed my knees and hips are less sore because my posture is better. A superb buy at under 20, and like the other reviewer, if I could afford it, would buy them in every colour.

I've just received the plum patent version of these sandals and have to say these are the most amazing sandals ever. I have huge, wide breeze-block feet and these shoes are ample wide enough for me due to the adjustable front strap. I was expecting the strap material to be sharp due to it being patent but it is very soft, so I can't imagine it will cut into your feet as I have found some cheap imitations of these sandals do. They are so comfortable AND stylish -- it's good to see Amazon are offering these at an affordable price in girlie colours for ladies with larger feet! I'll definitely be back for more :D

...ever! I have just received this year's pair - plum patent madrid style Birkenstocks and they are even lovelier than the picture and as comfortable as ever. If you have not tried these shoes you really should!
