5 out of 5 stars A workout that progresses with you!   November 16, 2008

I have the three most recent Nell dvd's and all of them are fantastic! Granted they are all fairly similar moves but the combination is different enough to give you a different challange. Some people may say it is boring and repetative, but its a lot more exciting than running on a treadmill. The moves are fairly easy to copy so the instructer doesn't spend ages telling you how to do it. This isn't an easy workout, it is a challenge, even for the very fit so it will last you years! I seriously recommend it to those who are fit and love a challenge and beginners who want something to aim for (like finishing the main section, trust me it feels great!)

Overall Nell's dvd's provide no nonsense workouts with great results

5 out of 5 stars hard work but works   November 15, 2008

I own all the Nell Mc Andrew workout videos and honestly they are all quite similar. It is mostly running on the spot and lifting arms up and down and lunges. Once in a while there is more low impact for few seconds and then they start with the running on the spot again. It is boring for many but for those who dont like workouts that has weird dance steps this is great. Honestly I have done so many workouts that simply are too easy for me and while those might be easy and fun to do I just have to face the fact that they give no effect for me and they dont make me sweat. This one is very challenging, I cant finish the whole DVD. I do 20 minutes in a day and I am completely exhausted. Before I did not like this DVD because I was bothered by that, but now I think as long as I get exhausted, it has gotta work.

2 out of 5 stars Pretty tedious   November 8, 2008

This can be a fairly tough workout. However, its also a very boring workout and I couldn't stick at it. In addition the nature of the moves gave me a headache. I would not buy this

5 out of 5 stars Hard work but with results! A great DVD to lose weight to.   October 28, 2008
Mrs. KJ Morris (Cyprus)
I bought this DVD after I had gotten used to the Divina DVD's. And as I saw that the title was 'Ultimate Challange, Ultimate Results' i figured it was worth a shot! I was right!! The first time I did the DVD, I had to stand up whilst doing the squats! I managed to get through all of it but it was hard going. The more I did the routine the easier it got, but not too easy. I've had this DVD for a couple of years now, and part of the reason I bought it was to lose weight, and I did, 2 1/2 stone in fact!

Although I feel that my fitness level is good, I still find this workout a challange everytime that I do it. I would have to say that out of all of the Nell DVD's that I have (and I bought them all after this one!!), this is by far the hardest and most challenging.

It has a good warm up and then moves into the main workout which will get your heart rate up and you sweating plenty. There a various 'Bail Outs' throughout the workout, so if you find it too much or just want to skip a section you can. The music is good as well, with a lot of the tracks helping you to work harder (as you find yourself bouncing along to them!). This routine finishes with a cool down.

If you are feeling brave or just want a toning workout there is a further section. This one concerntrates on toning as it includes, arm, stomach, bottom and a good stretch section. I found that I had to do the arm exercises without the weights to start with as you have to hold them up there for a long time and you really start to feel the burn! But again a good workout if you do it properly and it WILL improve you ability to do pressups......just keep going...it does get easier...trust me!

I thought that this DVD would feature Nell taking the class but she is just part of the workout as the bloke who gets you sweating takes all of the class. He does shout a lot and when you are doing the squats, you feel like you wanna tell him to shut up as he keeps saying lower, but he does get you attention and keep you going.

Overall, a great DVD, that is hard work but will get you the results if you use 3-4 times a week.

5 out of 5 stars Good Cardio workout. But veru boring!!!   October 2, 2008

I've always been put off my celebrity workout dvd's, but I have to say I was impressed by this. I've been searching for oh so long for a dvd that was mainly cardio and I finally found it. It basically has a 55 minute continuous cardio workout, which includes running on the spot (alot), star jumps, knee lifts, and other jumpy around moves. At the same time you are working your arms. Then it has something like a twenty minute floor session for your abs. The total running time of all the exercises is 1 hour and 21 minutes.

I've found that other exercise dvd's just don't have enough cardio in them, and they switch from one thing to the other. I would highly recommend this for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. It's def not for beginners.

If you are sick of buying dvd's with annoying presenters, that switch constantly from one type of exercise to another, that don't have enough cardio and have way too much fancy foot work -then this is the exercise dvd for you.

This is an amendment to what I have written above. I have to admit after doing this dvd a couple of times I've become extremely bored with it, since you are mainly running on the spot.
