Definitely a workout for beginners! August 5, 2008 Jen (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've never tried yoga but have dabbled with pilates. I found this dvd quite strenuous but the instructor was very informative, giving tips such as "if this is hurting then you're probably doing this" and she was right. It's a bit tricky without a mirror as you're not sure if you're horizontal etc but some of the moves for more advanced people I had to laugh at but will persevere to hopefully. Definitely worth buying if you fancy a workout that doesn't involve jogging!!
Decent workout but the annoying voice may put you off... July 29, 2008 J.B. (UK) Having researched into various yoga type workouts, this one appealled as something new and interesting. The workout itself is ok - enough to keep you motivated and try new things. Only downside is the really annoying voice and tone in which everything is explained. I played it for a week and then just had to switch it off!
great ! March 28, 2008 Alicja (Scunthorpe UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I m new to yogalates and Im amazed with the results it gives. Im not very keen on yoga only, so combining yoga and pilates sounded great. And it is. starts with nice and fairly easy exercises going to more advanced, but after proper stretching, relaxing you are able to do them . Solomon's voice is pleasant , no rush. Excellent stretching results, my body feels great, toned and firm! I recommend this to all , even to those who, like me, haven't tried yoga before at all.
Firm Fit Flexible = Fabulous Fantastic First-class February 26, 2008 Suzannah (Berks UK) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Louise has put together another fantastic program and I felt the benefits of this program while doing it. I appreciate her direction and it doesn't matter how many times I do her programs, the direction does not ever get boring or unnecessary. It is so easy to forget to breathe and with these types of exercises it is important to breathe properly. This workout is a challenge, however it is not impossible to complete. I don't sit there and think 'Oh please be finished please be finished soon!' She has broken the program into target areas, such as bums, tums, thighs etc, and it is very effective. The only drawback is with the selection menu. It isn't set up with workout 1, workout 2 etc. It is right into the target workouts, and so you actually don't know from that menu where one workout starts and the other ends. Like all her programs, except the cardio enhancer and the ultimate, it is a relaxing way to tone and strengthen your muscles. I highly recommend her whole Yogalates system.
EXCELLENT WORKOUT April 26, 2006 Ms. Ml Davis 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is a good workout for those who want to get the most out of pilates and the benefits of yoga also. I could certainly feel it working. Would be even better if there was some background music to the exercises but on the whole would recommend.
