5 out of 5 stars    June 14, 2008

I have never felt the urge to write a review before, but this is just fab!! Like a lot of people I am busy working with 2 small children and with the obvious extra wobbly bits that goes with age and babies!!!
Anyway, I got this 2 weeks ago and I try to do 2 of the sections every day...but I dont always. Usually I feel so uninspired to devote time to exercise...(.I would rather empty the bin than do it....).anyway....I really do think its changed my waste section. ...eg love handles!!!!! The fact that you really can do a few minutes each time really helps us mummies out there...and because I really have had some results in a small amount of time it makes me inspired to do it.....
Also the ladies on the video are very lovely, I don't look at them and think they have been enhanced in some way.
So If you are an average odd bod like me. snap it up!!!

This isn't a great workout: the warmup is too long for what it achieves and is very dull, the arms section isn't great and while I liked the buns and didn't mind the abs sections, there are far, far better products on the market. However, I don't know what DVD the previous reviewer has been watching, as the trainer and the two demonstrators are NOT chunky, they are slim and fit. I felt the need to post that. Skinny is NOT healthy, nor in my opinion is it sexy!

this is a great workout and does exactly what it says on the tin, i dont understand what the person above is moaning about. . first of all she said it was not a good all over workout. . . well it wasnt designed to be, its a targeted bums n tums dvd. . I'd like to know why a " personal trainer " would need to buy a workout dvd anyway,

2 out of 5 stars not inspiring and not a good workout.   May 29, 2008

I don't understand why the other 2 people have given this such good reviews. The instructor seems very shy, she speaks quietly and without the enthusiasm that people need to motivate them to workout efficiently. She is dull, boring and seems unsure of herself. I feel this DVD utilises false advertising. It says you can burn fat by doing the cardio on this dvd, but the only "cardio" consists of a gentle warm up. There is no way you will burn fat using this dvd. The warm up routine is also unnecessarily complicated and the instructions are given late so that it is hard to keep up. The toning sections are tolerable but not great at all. There are only a couple of exercises per body part, not enough to hit every muscle and give you a good all-over workout. This dvd contains less toning than most other workout dvds. The toning sections are also just as boring as the cardio. The music is uninspiring and the instructor is just as dull here as she is during the warm up. The instructor and her sidekicks are quite chunky girls, they are not very slim, which is another problem with this dvd. If the instructors in a workout video are slim, it inspires the viewer to work out harder. Unfortunately there is nothing inspiring about this dvd at all. The only plus sides to this are that the scenery is pretty (they work out on a sunny beach) and it's relaxing. But it's definitely NOT a good workout (trust me, I am a qualified personal trainer.) I recommend that you avoid wasting your money on this, and instead buy one of the Ministry of Sound's "Pump it Up" dvds.

I bought this DVD to try to get fit for the summer, and it's fantastic. I really feel as though it is working and it's easy to follow as the instructor explains how to do it properly. It seems to be good for different levels of ability as you can follow a beginner, intermediate, or expert programme. The extras are good too - diet info and a section on what to wear on the beach for your shape. I also liked the tutorials that give you advice and tips if you need them...
