This is an All Region DVD... December 14, 2006 givolini (Como (CO), Italy) ... although listed as Region 1. I took my chances purchasing it, and (as often happens), I happily found out that it plays just fine on my R2 player. As for the concert, the only remark would concern its length, too damn short.

This consert gives you Natalie Merchant at her very best. The fact that the consert is taped on a different night (12th june) than the live album (13th june) gives you all the songs you wish were on the live album. Natalie stands out as a more mature and playfull character than a few years earlier on the MTV Unplugged session, where she was far more shy and melancholic. Her voice is even better live than on record. She appeares in four different costumes all of whitch is by own design, variyng from a widow gown complete with vail during the enigmatic "Ophelia", to Sunflower aphron and pigtails during the more upbeat part of the show. You get treats like a ten minute drum-version of "These are Days", and a powerful cover of David Bowies "Space Oddity". Throughout the evening Miss Merchant talks, laughs, plays the piano, sings and dances around the stage like a hurricane in the springtime! All in all a fabolously entertaining show of high quality. Highly recomended and worth every penny!
