Amazon.co.uk Review Always there for you, the hit sitcom Friends has matured and blossomed over the years. The beginning of the sixth series finds the sextet back from Las Vegas where Ross and Rachel managed to get married in a state of pronounced intoxication, thus upstaging the intended nuptials of Chandler and Monica. The first half of the season follows Ross' failure to arrange the annulment, while Monica and Chandler move in together and Rachel sets up house with Phoebe. Joey gets a shapely new roommate in the shape of Elle Macpherson. Halfway through the series, we are given a wonderful fantasy peak at a parallel universe where Rachel married Barry after all, Ross' wife Carol never realised she was gay, Monica is still fat, Chandler is a writer, Joey is starring as Dr Drake Remoray on Days of Our Lives and Phoebe is a stockbroker. The closing arc of the series features a guest appearance from Bruce Willis in two episodes as the father of Ross' new girlfriend Elizabeth--who ends up romancing Rachel. --Leslie Felperin

Who can not love friends? March 4, 2007 Sabina_Pleasure This probably my second faviroute series (after series 3 only) as it contains a mixture of all the charecters rather than just 1 or 2 (ie: series 7 is basicly made up of noone but Monica and Chandler. It contains some of my my faviroute episodes such as TOW Rachels sister which is really funny. A must have for all Friends addicts like me!
An Amazing Series January 31, 2007 Kate (UK) Another fantastic series, The one with Ross' teeth has to be one of the funniest episodes I think I have ever seen! Other hilarious episodes this season include The one with the routine, The one where Chandler can't cry and the two part season finale The one with the proposal. Great, I love friends!
Another Amazing Series!!!!!!!!!! <'))>< August 6, 2006 Mr. C. R. HARDING (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Series 6 is in my opinion one of the best!! It has loads of classic episode such as: TOW Unagi TOW Ross got High TOW the Routine TOW Ross' Teeth TOW Pauls the man It's so funny watching Ross and Rachel find that they are married and TOW the Proposal is so sweet! This Box Set is worth every penny!!!!
The One with some of the Funniest Episodes! March 2, 2006 Kerry C. O'hagan (Stirling) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Friends series 6 begins with a bang and sets the tone for the rest of the series. It opens where series 5 left off: Monica and Chandler preparing to go into the wedding chapel in Vegas, but before they can walk down the aisle, a drunken Ross and Rachel stumble out, having gotten married!! From the first episode (The One after Vegas) to the last (The One with the Proposal pts 1 and 2), series 6 is full of laughs and packs an impressive guest star list, including Elle MacPherson, Reese Witherspoon and Bruce Willis. The main premise of this series is Monica's and Chandler's blossoming relationship and the two considering the possibility of marriage. Chandler moves in with Monica, Rachel moves out, a supermodel shacks up with Joey, Ross dates a student who has a scary father and Phoebe has a flatmate no-one has ever heard of...anyone remember a Denise being mentioned?! Although the series is, personally, one of my favourites, the writers tend to overuse the "Ross gets married/divorced again" joke card perhaps one too many times. Some classic episodes, such as The One with the Routine, The One with Unagi, the One with Elizabeth's Dad, the One where Paul's the Man and of course, The One with the Proposal are guarranteed to keep you laughing. Also, this series sees the 2-parter, The One that Could Have Been where we get a glimpse at what life could have had in store for the Friends should Rachel have married Barry, Ross stayed married to Carol and Monica was still fat and intent on giving away her "flower". Series 6 is well worth the purchase, it'll keep you entertained for hours.
only the best. January 16, 2006 jen fan 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I recently bought series 6 and i have to admit its one of the funniest series ever made.Watching Ross and Rachel discover what had happened in Vegas and seeing Ross struggle with his obvious feelings for her, was so fuuny. Also 'the one that could have been'parts 1 and 2 was hilarious. Pheobe becomes a bitchy stock broker so far from her true self and Monica is still overweight!'the one with unagi'has got to be one of the best episodes ever made.Ross tries to teach Pheobe and Rachel the concept of unagi (a state of total awareness). They're not too happy buy this to see what they do to Ross!Buy it now! jennyp.s check out www.friendsontv.co.uk to help you decide which series is for you
