I bought this thing about 2 months ago and have been using it every week since. Not had a problem one. Mine sits upright on one side of my day pack and I run the hose out the top and through the ring on one of my sholder straps. Hasnt leaked once and keeps me hydrated when walking without the need to stop and take a bottle out of my back pack.

i recently purchased this item and found the screw cap to be very poor, it takes ages if you ever get it to go on correct, which isnt ideal when its wet and your out and about, i packed it to go to the peak district and when i got there found that my bag was soaked, the bladder was on its side but surely it should be able to cope with that, ok if you have the time to constantly check on it and worry about it leaking, i havent so will be getting a pricier model. not very rough and tumble, sure you can boil it etc...but having to keep it upright wont be much good for a fell runner or rock climber, or a hiker covering anything other than paths!
