Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars does what it says on the box   October 1, 2005

When I recieved this product it was kind of bigger than I expected it to be - the sockets are quite large and heavy and the wire is very floppy so this does cause it to droop a bit as other reviezwers have mentioned. However, you could hardly call this a major problem, and it really doesn't bother me, although if you like me are buying it for your iPod nano or similarly tiny mp3 player, you might not like the fact that it's almost as big.
It is very useful because two people can listen to the same mp3 player each having THEIR OWN headphones, instead of having just one earphone each.
This is a useful invention, and it doesn't cost very much, so all in all i recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars BEST HEADPHONE SPLITTER EVER!!!!!!!!!   August 8, 2005

When I got the splitter I was very happy with it.It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be.The main reason I bought it was to use it for a portable DVD player so that two people could listen to it in the car (without distracting the driver) but now I also use it alot with my iPod.Well worth the money.

yeah, they're OK, the quality of sound sent to both outputs is very good, but then I'm on an old soundblaster, so who knows how it would cope with a bit more firepower. As described elsewhere, its quite chunky, so more suited to a PC environment than, say, two people sharing an iPod.

5 out of 5 stars It's a headphone splitter   May 11, 2005

Good quality headphone splitter. Used on a Zen Micro device to drive two pairs of headphones with no performance problems. If you're going to be moving your mobile music device around a bit (e.g. using with the Belkin casette adpater in the car and with your headphones) then I'd recommend you get one of these - even if just to protect the headphone socket on your valuable device (they do wear out.. and it's a shame to bin a 140+ device because a 10p socket has failed!)

4 out of 5 stars Good for the price   March 24, 2005

There isnt a lot you can write about a headphone splitter, but it does its job
There is no sound loss when split between 2 headphones
4 stars though- because they are fairly top heavy when hanging out the player, and 'droop' and can get in the way
not bad though
