2 out of 5 stars uncomfortable ear piece n poor mic pickup   May 4, 2008
J. Jerome (UK)
the ear piece is too big making it uncomfortable to wear, the microphone doesnt have a good pickup.....on increasing the sensitivity in sound control panel-> it causes the static to b amplified as well. Not a good design at all!

The opposite of ergonomic, made of extremely low grade plastic and comes apart when flexed.

3 out of 5 stars Don't buy it   August 15, 2006

Unfortunately, I didn't heed the words of a previous reviewer. This microphone is not worth buying. The clip that actually goes around your ear is large and uncomfortable to wear. I don't understand what kind of ears they were using to test this thing out, but it's pretty large. Too large for most ears. Because of this, the microphone hangs down instead of being where it should.

Additionally, the sound quality is not good. I'm not expecting it to be crystal clear for just a few pounds, but this has a lot of static in the background even if you're not talking.

Don't bother with it.

5 out of 5 stars Does exactly what it says it does   February 22, 2006

I use the headset for Skype and find it comfortable and easy to use. It is very compact to carry and seems to still be holding up very well after six months hard use. Several of my collegues have seen it and bought the same model for their Skype use.

At this price you just cannot lose.

2 out of 5 stars Bad Fit   June 27, 2005

The overall design of the headset is quite good, it fits like one of those cellphone headsets. The problem is, instead of having a speaker, there is an earpiece that sticks out the side that you have to *squeeze* into your ear. The earpice is oversized and not shaped at all for comfore so unless you have big ear it gets uncomfortable after about 20 min. the whole thing also hangs down a bit because the clip that fits over your ear is a bit flimsy and the only way to make it more secure is to fit the earpice more securely, but that just makes it more uncomfortable. Sadly you cant win. But for those problems it's a realy great headset with a smart finish so im just going to keep it and try and expand my ear a bit or work up a resistance to the discomfort. But i wouldn't buy it again... :(
