Slightly bigger than anticipated because of the padding which is actually reassuringly thick - quadruple the height of your laptop and add a few inches in width
Limited space for accessories. Can fit an AC adaptor and plug in there but the plug pushes against the main pocket when the flap is closed.
Biggest problem is that the internal insert is just about large enough for a 4*3 ratio 12" notebook such as a Lenovo X60. If your battery is flush with the casing you'll be OK, but if it extends off the back (as it does with an X60), you'll have to remove the internal insert (and thus half the protection of the bag) or separate the battery from the laptop during transit.
