Very sweex little perfomer May 15, 2008 Dave C (London United Kingdom) I think everything's been said about this great little piece of technology already - I've been struggling for a long time with my Wireless connection using a linksys usb adaptor - with many "cannot connect" occasions. The last straw was the incompatibility of the driver with Vista, causing a blue screen crash on shutdown. - sweex came along and saved the day --> less than 10 --> compatible with Vista --> so far has always connected --> is faster than the linksys it replaces --> brilliant!
ignore the manuals May 14, 2008 BunterBee 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly neither of the 2 PDF manuals on the CD seems to relate to the way the product actually installs - obviously they do contradict each other (otherwise why have two?) and there's no mention of Vista in either. However using common sense and the usual USB installation techniques I got this working pretty quickly (more by luck than expertise)and so far so good, performance seems everything you want although the Windows WiFi manager doesn't seem to detect it and I'm using the Sweex software from the CD (against the advice of the Manual!) I suppose for the very reasonable price you can't expect everything - at the end of the day it's doing the job.

Ive used this on a couple of different XP machines, it installed with simplicity and has worked without fault. The only time the internet has failed me was due to the router - in that instance a quick unplug and replug of this little beauty with an off and on of the router reset everything and off we went again.

Absolutely fantastic improved my connection to my router from "very good" to "excellent" a lot better then my old Netgear adapter that started cutting out on me causing me to buy this gem
Good value for money April 24, 2008 A. Pailor 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this for my daughters laptop which is quite old. It works perferctly although we had to go through the wireless zero configuration in order to get it to work.
