Not hugely responsive, but good for the price. April 30, 2008 This keyboard is good fun although not hugely practical in my humble opinion. Kinda like typing on glue.... however with a little bit of key remapping the buttons do a grand job, it is nicer to used then a cramped laptop keyboard and actually facilitates good typing practice in a way.
not good for finnesse or accurate typing (hence the mistakes in this review!)
Still cheap, a good back up keyboard.

Ok, so 99p ? I thought that just had to be a mistake, but when it arrived the very next morning i was overjoyed. I was sceptical about this things usability too, but quickly installed it and started using it. I chat every night to a contact so it got well used in its first day out.
I am pleasantly suprised by its usability and in about 3 days of owning it i have only 2 problems or concerns with it. Firstly, the wide keys (shift, space etc) will often not respond. I can often have sentences without spaces or capitals in them kindalikethisanditcanbeannoying. The reason is the membrane switch below the key is only in the center of it, and because the key is silicone when you press one side of the key, it does press, but doesn't activate the switch. Ok, so i must try and adjust my typing a little to compensate for this. No big deal.
My other concern is its cheapness, and the fact that i have read that some people find they don't last very long. Mine is simply for quietness at home (my pc is in the living room and wife hates my constant tapping) and lastability for me isn't such a concern (although i'll have to see how it goes over the next few weeks). But if you intend to use it for a laptop at college or school and chuck it in a backpack daily, i would avoid these really cheap ones.
All in all, so far, i'm very happy. And at 99p plus postage you can't go wrong !!
