| Customer Reviews:
Good processor, bad price September 17, 2007 Mr. R. J. Lyon (N Wales, UK) This processor is brilliant - low power consumption combined with very good performance. However it is cheaper at full online electrical retailers.
A good offering from AMD September 8, 2007 Technophile (UK) I recently brought one of these processors I am very happy with it's performance, what originally influenced me to buy it was that I was on a fairly tight budget for building a new system. So I was looking for a cheap all round processor that would handle day to day tasks and the occasional heavy load and during my search I happened to come across this processor from AMD (who I much prefer over Intel). I realised that this model seems to support more features than any of the others that were listed, of particular interest was the Cool'n'Quiet feature which it seems helps to save power and keep the processor cool when there's not much load. In short I highly recommend this offering from AMD for those looking for a processor that can handle day to day tasks and is still energy efficient. P.S if you want to make use of the Cool'n'Quiet feature make sure that your motherboard supports it before you buy, it'll be in the BIOS some where, probably under a section called something like advanced features or you can just check the motherboard specification.
