Bought this to charge my 30GB Ipod and my daughters Nano during a recent holiday. Worked a treat and for the price was definitely a good buy.

I have found this to be a very useful item to have especially when away from my computer so I can recharge my TOM TOM very easily. In fact it will be good for any thing that you use via a USB get one!

This is a fine product , works well with my iPod [80GB Classic]and is so much cheaper than the apple equivilent which my friend has for his. To be honest i've used his and i dont think there's much difference between them (other than the price). Its a definate buy for all cheapskates!!!!

I'm very pleased with this charger. It's small & light, works well, and feels sturdily built.
It's not a fault with the charger, but there's a subtle technical point which might explain why people have had trouble charging certain devices. This charger has a standard 4-pin USB 'A' connector - but some devices have a 5-pin USB 'mini-B' connector, and use the voltage on the fifth 'ID' pin to deduce what they are connected to. This pin is not connected in most cables, so the device may think it is connected to a computer rather than a charger, and may wait forever for the computer to respond. (The device should still be charging, but its screen may not indicate this.)
