best batteries ever December 23, 2008

Found these batteries to be much better than the rivals, when using with my digital camera I rarely need to change them. Also work fine with a different brand of re-charger. I can find very few places to get them other than Amazon.

Excellent rechargeable batteries, with good longevity. I have been comparing them against the equivalent Energizer batteries (which I also have are very good) and found these Duracell ones very good too, possibly better. I have these in my digital camera and they have lasted a good couple of weeks so far with many pictures taken (including flash) plus some small video clips too (as I was testing the camera). I have a 1-hour charger which does the job with these, although they get a little warm whilst doing so (but all rechargeable do I think)
On a general note rechargeable batteries are nearly, but not quite as long lasting as non-rechargeables, but they do save you money in the long run.

I purchased these for use with my Wii. They charged very quickly and last an age between charges thanks to the the 2650mAh. There's also the typical robust build quality as you would expect from Duracell.
If you have any gaming remote, digital camera, or any other product that requires AA batteries, these will serve you very well and repay you many times over compared to buying disposable batteries.
PS. For anyone buying a Wii, these are a far cheaper option than any of the docking stands if you already have a battery charger.
Considerable saving versus ordinary disposable batteries November 10, 2008

These batteries represent a considerable saving versus ordinary disposable batteries as these should provide over 500 charges at a purchase cost of around 6 for 4. Disposable batteries are about 2.50 for 4 so over just 10 charges that's 19 saved (as the electricity to charge costs a fraction of a penny). Imagine the savings after 50 or 100 charges of batteries used in a wireless gamepad for example...
Also rechargeable batteries last much much longer in high drain uses such as cameras and LED lights so overall are a great choice.

Not long ago had 3 sets of these and so far great results in my digital camera and children's toys. Seem to go on for much longer than every set I have used so far of other makes. Seems that these are truly the capacity that they claim,whilst others I have of the same rating run out much sooner.
Worth the few pounds extra that they cost over others that look to be a bargain but didn't work out to be the same quality.
