maybe its just me? November 14, 2008 mark dix (uk) ok i'm a fan of sennheiser and my mx500's lasted 3 years before dying, i tried various other sennheiser in ear headphones and eventually came across these in a shop, bought them and the first set had the right ear die on me after 3 weeks, phoned sennheiser and they said take them to the shop for an exchange which i did. second pair died in the same way in less than 3 hours use.... so i changed them for a different model. it's probably just me.
Decent sound quality September 23, 2008 M. D. Harris (Leicester, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had been using the standard iPod earphones and considered them to be of acceptable quality. When they fell apart I replaced them with these, which have a noticeably better sound quality. On the down side the construction feels a bit insubstantial and they are very light - almost too light, as they can just drop out of your ear without warning (don't buy if you want to go running with these). Also the wire tends to tangle up a lot as a result of having been crammed into the original packaging (the kinks in the wire never really go). Lets not get carried away though, they're fine for the money and a step up in sound terms from the basic Apple items but they're not going to blow your mind.
Bargain earphones but a few problems March 4, 2008 L. Raisanen (Vandelay Industries, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok...we are evaluating these on cost for quality basis. I think it is hard to fault these earphones for 5. However, I also have a pair of Sennheiser PX100s. The PX100s are more comfortable to wear for a long time...and recreate better sounds. That being said, if you really want earphones that go in your ears...and are ok with the only marginally worse sound quality...then these are for you. Pretty good sound for 5...and a definite must upgrade if you are putting up with some that came free with an MP3 player.
