BEWARE!! June 22, 2008 J. L. Brewerton (UK) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I started using this pen drive and thought it was great. Then, it decided to turn itself write protected. Not only can I not access my work, but I can't even format it to clear it. RUBBISH!!! It is now residing happily in my bin.
Beware of the hidden costs June 1, 2008 AngryFromChingford (London) 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is no different from any other similar device, but the delivery charges are. The cost for two small pendrives to be posted is 9. What a rip off. I live in London, not outer Mongolia !
Reliable, fast, cheap May 31, 2008 Mr. J. Stewart (St Neots, Cambridgeshire United Kingdom) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought one of these a few months ago and it's going strong. Vast amounts of storage, pretty quick, functional design, dirt cheap. Would strongly recommend. 4gb seemed an awful lot - and cost an awful lot - a year ago, but now this comes for under a fiver. The 8 gig version of this now costs about 11. Does anyone else out there wonder how cheap these little gadgets are going to become and whether there is any limit to their capacity? 64 gb pen drive, anyone?
Not reliable May 9, 2008 BunterBee 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This seemed unbelievable value for the first couple of weeks when it worked perfectly - then it started reporting write errors, corrupted the FAT tables of half it's stored folders (not seen that since I stopped using floppies), and finally locked itself in read-only mode so I couldn't even attempt reformatting it. What a shame - I've now replaced it with a Sony USB stick, a bit more expensive but at least it comes with a guarantee.
Great price but don't always work May 8, 2008 Mist of Time (UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought two of these at an unbelievable price (in three years time this will no doubt seem ludicrous but is true in 2008). Sadly one of them had I/O errors but was soon replaced. I don't use for acellerating Vista, just for moving lots of files from desktop to laptop
