Only works on my 120gb ipod player will not fit the shuffle, but it works well and is made by Apple

It does what it says on the tin essentially, a USB cable for your ipod. I've not checked what make it is but would the fact that it isn't apple make a difference to its performance - NO! Its great value, it charges, it loads music and that's what its meant to do how anyone can give it a bad review because of the label i don't know!

As several people have stated, this isn't the "official" apple cable at all. I bought 3 of these as the price looked good, but while the iphone will connect and charge it generally fails to sync using any of the three.

As some other reviewers have pointed out, this is almost certainly not an "Official Apple" product. However, it is much (much!) better value for money, and is of perfectly good quality.
It might be worth buyers noting though that on the version I received, the iPhone connector doesn't just loosely pull out of the device in quite the same way that the Apple version does. Instead, the connector has subtle buttons on the sides of the connector, designed to be squeezed when it is pulled out.
