Tablet overview :) July 30, 2008 Harry Hutchison (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wacom - Bamboo Fun A6 Graphics Tablet This tablet is just as good as the 'small' bamboo tablet which is the same size. The tabket itself works brillantly after setting up photoshop with it. However I will say it takes time in order to get used to the sensitivity of presure which I don't know how to change myself. Along with gettin used to look at my screen this is the dificulty with all tablets. The tablet it self has 4 express keys and has pressure senstiity and everything you wold need to draw normally on paper. The keys on the tablet can be alterd to different things such as open or run a program, get back to desktop, undo, redo, plus many more the best function is the touch wheel which lights up when connected, this as well can be set up to scroll or zoom whichever is your choice plus more. Overall I say look at other reviews of the similar product as everything included was the same however the direct from amazon is much more expensive and overall is the same other than delivery time. I would suggest this tablet over others due to cheap price as the software that comes with this is expensive on its own PS + artrage round 80 which is too much alone. the tablet is perfect for begginers to the tablet or experts. overall this was worth my money
Disappointing July 11, 2008 Brim (England) 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'm very disappointed with this product and, to be fair, I don't expect that other tablets are any different. If I thought that I could reproduce on the screen what I can do on a sheet of paper then i have been proved wrong. I bought the tablet to see if could add 'in pc' oriental language sylables onto documents. Something that I usually do, with a pen, after printing the document. Trying to draw simple parallel lines, laterally across the page, is a nightmare. The tablet has to be placed on the table parallel to the edge of the desk in a way that few people do when writing on a sheet of paper which we adjust to suit the inclination of our writing hand. Also my handwriting looks a mess, impossible to keep to a steady line and it looks as if I wrote while wearing boxing gloves. I'll persevere but I still wish that I hadn't bought it.
