I first discovered this figurine whilst randomly searching Evangelion on the net one day - I then stumbled upon the Angel Chromosome-XX series and then gasp at the beauty of this figurine!
The series is basically exploring the female anthropomorphized versions of several Angels including Lilith, Sachiel and Tabris. This figurine is of Arael - the glowing winged Angel that forces itself into people psyche from episode 22 of the anime.
I got this figurine for Christmas and it currently sits proudly on the top of my book case. The attention to detail is stunning. The wings are elegant and transparent but solidly built and gorgeous. The fade from the white body suit to the ghostly pale blue arms is a nice touch as well.
The figurine is not actually attached to the stand but the figurine sits perfectly upon it - I have no worries of it falling over.
The only thing that worries me is the Lance of Longinus impaling the Angel. It's quite thin and looks easily breakable. I had to remove it carefully from the box it came in.
Beside from that; a wonderful figurine and one that'll make any admirer go green with envy.
